Lockdown in Poland extended until April 18

When it comes to domestic tourism, little has changed in the restrictions. Hotels will be closed to private travelers until April 18, museums and sports facilities will be closed.

During a press conference, Adam Niedzielski, the minister of health, said: “We are seeing a drop in the number of cases every day, but the lower number of infections is the result of the holiday break. The current country-wide restrictions entered into force on Saturday, March 27, and were to remain in force until April 9.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health announced that 14,000 people had been reported in Poland. 910 new and confirmed cases of coronavirus infection.
