LOT starts selling flights for Summer 2021

LOT’s offer for the summer season of 2021 includes over 20 holiday routes. The new destinations are Mykonos and Palermo, which are popular among tourists.

The carrier plans to significantly expand its charter activities using a modern regional fleet as well as medium and long-range fleets (LOT’s Embraer 195, Boeing 737 and Boeing 787-Dreamliner).

LOT betting on holiday destinations

In the upcoming summer season, the destinations known to passengers from this year’s #LOTnaWakacje campaign will be available, such as the islands of Majorca, Santorini, Rhodes and Zakynthos, as well as Malta and the cities of Athens, Burgas, Thessaloniki, Tirana and Varna.

Moreover, LOT will operate direct flights to Barcelona, ​​Venice, Corfu, Larnaca, Nice, Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar. Connections will be made from Warsaw, and selected directions will also be from Katowice.

In the summer, the Polish carrier plans to resume its offer for individual customers as well as tour operators and travel agencies.

Strengthening the charter branch

Michał Fijoł, PLL LOT’s commercial board member, said: “Next year we plan to strengthen our presence on the tourist and charter travel market. We want to offer about 1 million seats on tourist routes. We have planned our offer in accordance with the expectations of tour operators and travel agencies. The highest safety standards, modern fleet and a guarantee of high-quality passenger service make our product very competitive in comparison to other carriers. ”

New connections will be gradually added to LOT’s schedules. The target shape of the connection network in the summer of 2021 will depend on the pandemic situation in the world. Publication of timetables in a significant advance gives tour operators time to carefully prepare an offer for customers for the summer of 2021.

Flexible change policy

Fijoł added: „Safety is our priority, therefore we will be flying to places where the epidemic situation is stable. We want to provide passengers with maximum travel planning comfort, introducing a very flexible policy of changes in reservations. In addition, we have extended the voucher redemption time to 2 years. We believe that these activities will allow our clients to plan their next year’s holidays more easily. ”
